Yum!
mk's mama My husband, who is not even close to being a vegetarian, agreed to take me (his raw vegan wife who leaves out the raw for a meal or two a day) to this restaurant. The food was great! We got the quesadilla avocado ($8) as an appetizer along with the PB roll ($8) and the red roll ($8.50). They serve breakfast all day. His entree was the avocado pancake (about $7)and I ordered pad thai ($8.75). He didn't like that his pancakes came out before the appetizer. Other than that, we had a great time. He actually loved the pancake and the pb roll. I thought everything was amazing and even more so that the entire menu was vegan. We didn't finish everything.. and the leftover pad thai was great for breakfast today. Def will be coming back in the future!
Great Food!
Shawn Sonnentag My wife and I spent a weekend in the San Diego area. We found the Vegan Zone after searching for local restaurants that were vegan friendly. The entire menu at the Vegan Zone is vegan. The food was great. We took the advice of another reviewer and tried the chicken drumsticks. There are EXCELLENT! The spicy noodle entree that I tried was wonderful as well. Parking is easy in the parking lot across the street at $3 for 2 hours of parking. You can then spend an hour walking on the beach (only 1 block away) after your meal. :)
Kick back and relax
Michael Scudder It was very relaxing to just sit back and order anything from the menu we wanted. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the place. We would come back.
You mean I can eat anything on the menu?!!
Danielle I love going to a place where I don't have to quiz the server about ingredients or prep. I went with my meating boyfriend and he enjoyed everything he tried. The 'chicken' drumsticks were great as were the veggie rolls. We are both looking forward to going back again. Oh, and the customers were kinda' crazy, I kept waiting for them to start high fiving each other as they went on about the evils of an unhealthy diet. That's why we're eating in a place like this, right? Go team VEG! :)
