If you'r a'veg' and want to secretly introduce your hardcore meat eater friends or family to some of the best food in San Diego County, then take trip to the mountains any time of the year even in the dead of winter. This place is warm and cozey. The menu is diverse and every thing I've tried was well seasoned and full of flavor, not bland like so many other veg. and non-veg. resturants. Their veg. chile is hardy and rivals any meat chile. Sandwiches are substantial on their own fresh baked bread. Veg. burgers are awsome. They have great Mex. food with delicious fresh made salsa that is a bit hotter and better than most Mex. resturants. I could go on and on. There is also a very fine gift shop wright next door with unique items from around the world. A beautiful day in the woods, tasty 'concious' food, nice gifts, need us more? Well maybe a friend to go with. Peace Paul |
